Tong Peal are Europes largest producer of grading screens -  Each screen is hand prepared from the weaving of each strand of wire to the making of the joining clips and then the assembly of the finished screen.  Tong Peal grading screens can be manufactured to any width or length required.

Square Mesh Metal Screens - These are used primarily for grading potatoes.  The screen is constructed using 4mm diameter galvanised wire ensuring both strength and maximum life span.  Flexible and self cleaning they are available in mesh sizes from 20mm to 110mm.  Many, many sizes are available in increments of one mm in many instances (see screen sizes page).  Tong Peal carry a large stock of steel grading screens and should we have to manufacture the item we endeavour to do so within a few days.

Hexagonal Mesh Metal Screens - These are used primarily for grading onions. Again manufactured from 4mm diameter galvanised wire ensuring both strength and maximum life span.  Flexible and self cleaning they are available in mesh sizes from 38mm to 110mm. 

Repair parts - If a metal screen is damaged (usually by pieces of wood, metal or stones etc....) then the damaged section can be repaired.  Numerous options are available from individual components, sets of hooks, repair kits (set of hooks with 3 castellated wires and straight wires if required) or a hook end or centre repair section fully assembled.
